Transportation

Discovery Ski Area is located approximately 25 miles west of Anaconda. The best way to reach the ski area is by car. From Anaconda, take Montana Highway 1 towards Philipsburg. Turn south onto Skalkaho Highway (Highway 38) and follow the signs to Discovery Ski Area. The road is generally well-maintained, but four-wheel drive may be necessary during periods of heavy snowfall.
